Who We Are
Black Austin Democrats, (“BAD”) is a General-Purpose Political Action Committee (GPAC) and chapter of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats. The PAC, with the approval of our Executive Board, contributes funds it raised to initiatives that further the organizations mission.
Mission Statement
The mission BAD is to promote participation, education, and mobilization in the political process by Black Democrats throughout Central Texas, including but not limited to Travis, Hays, Williamson and Bastrop Counties.
How the Money Is Used
In keeping with the PAC's mission statement, the PAC intends to use funds to promote participation, education, and mobilization in the political process by Black Democrats throughout Central Texas.
